Admission Requirements
For admission to the program, the College prefers applicants to have a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher in the last two years of undergraduate work and all post-baccalaureate work. Graduates from U.S. undergraduate institution with a GPA between 2.7 – 3.0, may be admitted on a conditional basis. Students admitted on the conditional status must maintain a B-average in their first semester.
Applicants must also interview and take a supervised, timed essay examination.
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) test is NOT required. Applicants may substitute the verbal portion of the GMAT in lieu of undetaking the timed writing test. Scores should be at the 50th percentile or higher in order to be waived from the timed writing test.
International applicants: All applicants whose native language is not English must submit an official TOEFL score report from a test taken within the last two years. The TOEFL is waived only for applicants who have completed a bachelor's or advanced degree within the last five years at an accredited/recognized institution in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United Kingdom. The program of study must be no less than two years of full-time course work. A score of 600 is required. Information about both the TOEFL and the GMAT can be obtained from the Educational Testing Service.
The CBA has found that individuals with work experience benefit most from the graduate program and contribute the most to it.
